Tom Applegate, a lifelong photography and video enthusiast, hosted a free digital photography class Wednesday evening at the Panther Valley Public Library, Lansford. His presentation discussed various types and functions of cameras. Applegate also talked about green screen photography, called chromakey.

President Marie Ondrus of the library board said additional classes at the library, located at 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, are planned for the future.
