The Nesquehoning Historical Society museum will be open on Sept. 3 From 9 a.m.-noon. Come check out the new items on display.
If you cannot make a Saturday opening, you can reach out to the group on the society’s Facebook page and schedule a time.
The society will also be hosting two presentations in September. The first will be on Sept. 12 At 6:30 p.m.
Local historian and writer, Vince Hydro’s presentation will feature the Panther Valley. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with music.
The same presentation will be held on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m.
The society is located at 157 W. Railroad St. Parking is available in the lot next to the building.
Presentations are free to the public, but as always, donations are appreciated.
