Jacob Denmon and Ethan Webb of Boy Scout Troop 101 are having a food drive to honor and support the veterans of Paul’s House and Valor Clinic.

“I wanted to do something to honor them, because they fought to keep us safe and they should be honored,” Denmon said.

The food drive starts Sept. 1 and items can be dropped off from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Salem UCC Church, 117 Corner Road, Gilbert, every Tuesday and Wednesday until Oct. 1.

Food items needed the most are pouches of tuna and chicken (no cans), and jars of peanut butter.
