Mr. and Mrs. John E. Christman of Lehighton recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married on Aug. 25, 1962, by the Rev. Fenzil at SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton.

Mrs. Christman is the former Hazel Green, daughter of the late Oliver and Stella Green of Lehighton.

Mr. Christman is the son of the late Earnest and Pauline Christman of Lehighton.

The couple has a daughter, Paula and her husband Steve, of British Columbia, Canada; and a son, Eric, and wife Janine, of Lehighton. They also have four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
