Lower Towamensing Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:
• Hired Robin Cressley as township roadmaster at the rate of $26 an hour, along with a $300 health insurance opt out.
• Rejected the Larry Eckhart minor lot line adjustment plan unless the township receives an application for a continuance before Aug. 24.
• Approved a request from the Carbon County Fair for neighboring municipalities to provide fire police for the Carbon County Fair, which runs Aug. 8-13.
• Granted permission to Abby Kuhns to build two little libraries at the Stoney Ridge P.A.R.C. and AquashIcola Park for her Girl Scout Silver Project.
