Emergency officials were on the scene of a four-passenger helicopter that landed on its side in the backyard of a residence on Orioles Drive in Mahoning Township.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the Robinson R44 helicopter crashed around 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Three people were on board. It was reported that one person had a shoulder injury and was transported to the hospital.
The FAA, which doesn’t identify people in aircraft incidents, said it will investigate and issue a report.
According to the aircraft number, the 2012 helicopter is owned by EDH Services LLC.
Mahoning Township Police deferred to FAA to release information.
