The Ross Township supervisors discussed the following during their meeting Monday evening:

• The township has a vacancy for the UCC Joint Board of Appeals member. The person should be well-versed in architecture, building, engineering, inspection or construction. Contact the township office at 570-992-4990.

• The Last Flight Out Duo will perform in the Ross Township Park on Aug. 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The duo sings and plays guitar. They perform original and covers of classic rock songs. The summer concert series is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, as well as snacks.

• Community Day will be held Sept. 17 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Ross Township Park. There will be food trucks, craft and retail vendors, and entertainment. The township is seeking additional vendors and volunteers for the event.

• The township’s fall cleanup days will be Sept. 23 and Sept. 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. both days. There will be dumpsters on site for garage and recycling. The fees will be posted on their website.
