The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork for the remainder of the week:

Carbon County

• Packer Township: Spring Mountain Road, Route 93 and Quakake Road, lane restriction with flagging in both directions, paving, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lehigh County

• Whitehall Township, Route 22, between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road, milling and paving, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday, ongoing US 22 pavement rehabilitation project.

• Interstate 78, between: Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 54 (Route 222), nighttime lane restrictions in both directions for construction work that includes replacing median barrier, existing drainage maintenance, accelerated concrete roadway patchwork, paving, guide rail upgrades, signage and pavement markings. Expect delays and please use caution when traveling in work zones, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday.

• South Whitehall/Whitehall Township, Route 22 Interchanges, nighttime paving. There will be various ramp closures at the Route 22 Interchanges with Cedar Crest Boulevard, 15th Street, and MacArthur Road. Work occurs from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. This work is part of the ongoing Route 22 pavement rehabilitation project. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the work zones.

• Interstate 78 between Exit 49 (PA 100) and Northampton County line, Highway Beautification, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• North Whitehall, Neffs Laurys Road Between Route 145 and Old Post Road, lane restriction, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday.

• Heidelberg Township, Best Station Road, between Church Road and Route 873, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday.

Northampton County

• Interstate 78 between: Exit 67 (Route 412) and Exit 75 (To Route 611), lane restriction eastbound for concrete repair work. Expect delays and please use caution when traveling in work zones, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday.

• Bethlehem, Palmer townships, Route 22, between: 25th Street Interchange and Bethman Road Overpass, paving, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday.

• Lower Saucon/Bethlehem/Williams Township, Interstate 78 East between: Exit 60 (PA 309) and Exit 75 (to PA 611), Highway Beautification, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., shoulder work, Wednesday and Thursday.

• Bethlehem, Interstate 78 Ramps at Exit 67 (PA 412), Highway Beautification, noon to 2 p.m. Friday.

• Palmer/Plainfield Township, Route 33 between Route 22 and Monroe County line, highway beautification, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Thursday.

Monroe County

• Chestnuthill Township, Gilbert Road, routes 209 and 115, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Friday.

Schuylkill County

• Butler and West Mahanoy townships, Route 54 between Girardville and Mahanoy City, pothole patching, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.

• West Penn Township, Route 309, between: routes 443 and 895, milling and paving, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.
