More than 2,000 people attended the 12th Annual Wine on the Mountain festivities on Saturday and Sunday at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, where nine wineries offered guests a chance to sample and buy their products while mingling outside on the deck or inside the air-conditioned facilities.
The wineries are all affiliated with the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail.
Offering the samples were Pinnacle Ridge Winery, Franklin Hill Vineyards, Galen Glen Winery, Blue Mountain Winery, Tolino Vineyards, Vynecrest Vinyard and Winery, Clover Hill Winery, Big Creek Vineyard and Amore Vineyard and Winery.
Attendance on Saturday exceeded 1,250 people while yesterday’s crowd was estimated at 1,000.
