Pennsylvania State Police at Fern Ridge have charged a man with several burglaries in Penn Forest Township.
On Wednesday at 8:52 a.m., the Pennsylvania State Police Fern Ridge Barracks received several emergency telephone calls from community members reporting a man was forcibly making his way into several residences in the area of Stony Mountain Road and Lipo Way, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.
James L. Yenca, 34, of Jim Thorpe, was ultimately apprehended and charged with burglary, attempted burglary, theft, theft from motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and criminal trespass. He was arraigned and taken to Carbon County Correctional Facility, unable to post $100,000 bail.
