The death of an elderly Nesquehoning couple is reported to be a homicide/suicide.
State police at Lehighton said at 7:10 a.m. on Sunday troopers responded to 116 Coal St., in the borough, for a report of a deceased man and woman. Both were found inside their bedroom and died of apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as Leonard L. Lauchnor, 91, and Josephine Lauchnor, 89.
