The board of directors of Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale, has appointed an interim chief executive officer.

Michael R. Miller was named to the post of president/CEO. He comes to Coaldale from his post as president of the Oak Hill Memorial Hospital, Joplin, Missouri.

Seated on the board of directors were Gerald A. Ravitz, M.D., and John J. Tracy. Dr. Ravitz has been a member of the MMMC staff since 1978. Tracy is manager of human resources for Continental PET Technologies, Hazleton, and previously served in that capacity and in labor relations for the Atlas Company/ICI Explosives, Tamaqua.
