The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following road work this week, but be advised that road work schedules may change as needed during COVID-19 mitigation or due to changes in the weather:

Carbon County

• Penn Forest: Route 903/Highway to Adventure shoulder work/widening between Beltsville Road and Unionville Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lehigh County

• Whitehall Township: Route 22 milling and paving between 15th Street and Route 145/MacArthur Road, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Various municipalities: I-78 construction between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 54 (Route 222), 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday.

• South Whitehall/Whitehall townships: Route 22 interchanges, various closures with Cedar Crest Boulevard, 15th Street and MacArthur Road for an ongoing pavement project, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Thursday.

• Washington Township: Mountain Road bridge repair between Brown Street and Deer Road, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Various municipalities: I-78 highway beautification between Route 100 and Northampton County line, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday.

• Whitehall Township: Route 22 highway beautification between Route 145 and I-78, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Heidelberg Township: Reservoir Road drainage between Mountain Road and Route 309, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Monroe County

• Stroud Township: Lower Cherry Valley Road crack sealing between Route 191 and Old Route 115, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

Northampton County

• Various municipalities: I-78 construction between Exit 67 and Exit 75, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday.

• Bethlehem Township: Route 22 West westbound lane restriction between Route 33 and Route 191, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Palmer/Plainfield townships: Route 33 road work between Route 22 and Route 512, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Schuylkill County

• Tremont, Frailey townships: I-81 pothole patching between Exit 104 and Exit 100, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• West Penn Township: Route 309 milling and paving between Mill Drive and Overlook Drive, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Butler, Ryan, and Delano townships: I-81 pothole patching between Exit 124 and Luzerne County line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
