The winners use a seven-run second inning to grab the lead and then barely hang on to claim the title. Jon Venarchick delivers a three-run triple during the big frame, while Mike Deacy slugs a two-run homer. Versuk goes the distance on the mound, striking out 12. Franklin, coached by Ken Eck, also receives two hits from both Sean Steigerwalt and Cameron Klotz.
