For the second consecutive year, the Marks Masonry team of Jim Thorpe was the first place winner of the 22nd Annual Rafting Against Cancer Race on the Lehigh River, sponsored by the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society.

The team crossed the finish line in a time of 1:03:32 and won the top spot in the race for the fourth time in the last eight years.

Team Root, another top finisher, won second place overall at 1:08:10.

First place in the women’s division went to Therapy Option at 1:25:25 while second place was won by Lehigh Valley Hospice with a time of 1:26:46.
