Chestnuthill resident conveys property concerns to supervisors

Chestnuthill Township resident Debra Hague asked supervisors this week about fixing her property on Pioneer Lane.

“The way the paving is, people use it for a turn around because they think is part of the Pioneer Lane,” Hague said.

Hague said she met with Chris McDermott, the township’s engineer, several times to discuss the matter.

“And one time, he came to the property with David Albright who told me he would look into restoring my property. My main concern is that the restoration project must minimize any detrimental impact of stormwater runoff,” Hague said.

Eric Snyder, supervisors’ vice chairman, said because the cul-de-sac was on her property when she purchased it, there isn’t much the township can do. He said he would talk to McDermott and Albright to see if there might be some remedy.
