Golden Agers

The Panther Valley Golden Agers will hold a bus trip to Mount Airy Casino on Aug. 2. Tickets must be paid for by July 11.

The group meets the second and fourth Monday at St. Ann Senior Apartments, Lansford, at 1 p.m. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

Panther Valley Senior Center

The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for the week of July 11-15.

Monday: Chicken fajita with peppers, corn, orange or tuna sandwich

Tuesday: Greek chicken, lemon potatoes, zucchini, pound cake or turkey salad

Wednesday: Turkey Florentine, noodles, vegetable blend, apple slices or Italian sandwich

Thursday: Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, jello or turkey BLT

Friday: BBQ chicken, potato salad, corn salad, melon or chef salad with chicken

The senior center also announced the upcoming events in July.

Po-Keeno on July 11 at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on July 12 at 10:45 a.m.; Crafts on July 13 at 10 a.m.; Lancaster Trip on July 14, center will remain open for lunches; Skeeball Tournament on July 15 at 11 a.m.
