Calvary Lewistown
Pastor Ralph Saunders will present the message at the 10:25 a.m. worship service at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle.
Sunday school class is scheduled for 9:15 a.m.
There is no evening service or Wednesday prayer meeting this week so that you can attend Auburn camp meeting.
Upcoming event: Chiz Rider and his son will present a trumpet concert on July 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Rush-Ryan-Delano Seniors
The Rush-Ryan-Delano senior citizens met on June 14 with 45 members in attendance. Members added to the sick list are Doris Brobst and Maryanne Laughlin.
June birthdays were celebrated by Cindy Godenis, Bill Morrison, Fred Herb, Lucille Sparr, Nancy Schuckhart.
The annual picnic, scheduled for July 12 was discussed.
The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at Christ Church, Barnesville at 1 p.m.
Anyone 55 or older is invited to attend.
Tamaqua Seniors
The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on June 16 with 26 members in attendance. Secretary, Ruthann Feane opened the meeting with the reading “God’s Creation.”
Mary Ann Laughlin and Shirley Kaiser were added to the sick list. All Father’s were wished a Happy Father’s Day.

Doris Brobst was added to the sick list. Two new members, Eva Lambert and Dorothy Quigly were welcomed.
Results of the election of officers: President - Mary Bittle, Vice-President - Joyce Krell, Secretary - Ruthann Feane, Treasurer - Diane Gould.
The indoor picnic was discussed.
The group meets every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Coaldale Complex. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.
Vacation Bible School
Zion Church and Calvary Evangelical UMC are sponsoring Vacation Bible School at the Lewistown Valley Tabernacle on July 11-15 from 6 to 8:15 p.m.
Children under 4 years of age need an adult to accompany them.

Child Evangelism Fellowship has announced dates for Good News Day Camp: June 27-July 1: Tamaqua, Lewistown Valley; July 11-15: Valley View, Valley View Park; July 18-22: Pine Grove, Manbeck’s E.C. Church, Rock; July 25-29: Auburn, Christmas Pine Campground; Aug. 1-5: Ashland, Higher Ups Park (near Pioneer Tunnel).
