Bonney Lee Sterling, 20, was crowned queen of the Lehighton Area 225th Anniversary Celebration last night.

Miss Sterling, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sterling of 65 Beaver St., Lehighton, is a 1969 graduate of Lehighton Area High School and is a beautician.

She was crowned at a dinner dance held in the Lehighton Nation Guard Armory and was escorted by her fiancé, Gerald Kresge of Palmerton.

Lynn Merluzzi, 19, and Nancy Keiser, 24, both of Lehighton, were named Miss Congeniality and First Princess, respectively.
