State police at Fern Ridge are looking for information in a Chestnuthill home invasion where the residents were held at gunpoint.

Troopers said three black men entered a residence on the 1200 block of Grand Mesa Drive by smashing a sliding-glass door at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday.

The men, possibly in late teens or early 20s, held the residents at gunpoint and removed a safe and gun from the residence.

Two of the suspects wore coverings over their faces. During the robbery at least one round was fired by a suspect.

None of the residents were injured.

The suspects fled the scene in a white four-door SUV. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Fern Ridge Station at 570-646-2271.
