Area drivers were involved in crashes in Luzerne County:

• A Carbon County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash in Foster Township, Luzerne County, at 1:46 a.m. June 1..

State police at Hazleton said Barbara A. Robinson, 27, of Weatherly, was driving a 2011 Subaru Outback westbound on Interstate 80 when the vehicle went onto the right berm and struck a tree.

Robinson and her passenger, Ryan J. Someroak, 27, of Drums, were not injured. The vehicle was towed.

• A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 7:18 a.m. on June 1 at the intersection of Maplewood Drive and Route 924, in Hazle Township, Luzerne County.

State police at Hazleton said Gerson Duran Jimenez, 27, of McAdoo, was driving a 2018 Freightliner tractor with trailer northbound on 924 and made a right turn onto Maplewood Drive. As he completed the turn the rig overturned onto its side as a result of the fifth wheel being fully engaged in the upright position.

No injuries were reported. The rig was towed.

Duran Jimenez was cited for the crash.
