During May, Palmerton Police Department responded to 126 calls for service. The following were charged:

• Leroy Hahn, 37, Nesquehoning, charged with theft by unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of an automobile, and defiant trespass, for an incident April 13 in the 1100 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

• Damian Walck, 51, Lehighton, charged with two counts of driving under the influence, and speeding, for an incident April 23 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

• Jennifer Silva, 37, Palmerton, charged with three counts of driving under the influence, for an incident May 9 at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Third Street.

• Christopher Culkin, 35, Palmerton, charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, for an incident May 12 in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.

• Heather Kromer, 28, Palmerton, charged with two counts of driving under the influence, for an incident May 16 in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.

• Raisa Brown, 52, Palmerton, charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking, for an incident May 22 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

• Axl Feiller, 25, Slatington, charged with one count of driving under the influence, for an incident May 30 at the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.

• In addition, Palmerton Police issued 100 traffic citations: 28 for obedience to traffic control devices, 20 for expired inspection, 13 for speeding, 11 for expired registration, seven for driving without a license, seven for expired emissions, three for failure to activate hazard signals, three for driving under suspension, two for windshield obstruction, and one each for window tint, ornamental lighting, restraint systems, failure to wear eye protection, improper class of license, and carrying and exhibiting license on demand; 20 non-traffic citations; and 13 traffic violation warnings.
