The incident happened at 7:12 p.m. at the TLC Park located between routes 715 and 611 in Tannersville.

Police said video surveillance and witness information has assisted police with the following summary of events:

“Approximately 20-25 people were at the park and most were playing basketball when a fight started and led to a single shooter firing rounds from a handgun that disbursed the crowd.

The shooter then fired additional shots that struck one male in the back as he was running away.

The shooter appears to be a light skinned black or Hispanic male who was with three other black or Hispanic males. The group fled the scene in a Dodge truck.”
