The investigation remains underway in a shooting that took place Sunday evening in Slatington.

Slatington Police Department Sgt. Deron Dorward said that patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting after 6 p.m. in the area of 75 N. Walnut St.

“Upon arrival, they did find evidence of a shooting,” Dorward said. “At this time we have no victims.”

Dorward said there were no injuries that police are aware of.

“We are working on any leads to follow up on,” he said. “It’s an active investigation.”
