Two people were seriously injured Saturday night when involved in a crash in the village of Gilbert.

The accident occurred around 8 p.m. along Gilbert Road just a matter of feet north of the intersection with Long Mountain Road.

Two of the victims believed to be riders on a motorcycle were flown by two MedEvac helicopters to the Lehigh Valley Hospital trauma center in Allentown.

The driver of a second vehicle was also injured. State police are investigating the incident. Area fire police maintained traffic control at the scene.
