Bobby Croneberger had a big day on the mound and at the plate to lead Northern Valley to a 12-0 Lehigh Valley Connie Mack League victory over Emmaus in its season opener.

Croneberger pitched a one-hitter, allowing no walks while striking out seven in the five-inning contest. He also helped his own cause with a double and a solo homer.

The Chargers also received three hits from Josh Lichman, who scored twice and knocked in a run. Nick Buskirk contributed two hits, two runs and an RBI to the winning effort, while Josh Farber chipped in with a hit and two RBIs. Connor Simms added a hit and two runs scored.
