First round dates, sites and times have been announced for the PIAA state baseball and softball tournaments.

In Class 3A baseball, District 11 champion Panther Valley will face District 2 titlist Lake Lehman on Monday at 4:30 p.m. at Misericordia University’s Tambur Field in Dallas.

In Class 3A softball, District 11 runner-up Palmerton will face District 12 champion Philadelphia Academy Charter on Monday at 12 p.m. at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield.

Tickets for both games will need to be purchased through the PIAA website. No tickets will be sold at the games. As of Friday morning, the link to the ticket sales have not been posted.
