Rush Township Police Chief Rick Weaver released the department’s activity report for April.

There were 58 incidents and complaints, including phone assignments, 7; background checks, reportable traffic crashes and suspicious persons, all 5; information and protection from abuse incidents, all 3; ambulance assists, assist other police departments, civil matters, fraud, nonreportable crashes, request information and trespassing, all 2; and administrative assignments, alarm calls, well-being check, disabled vehicle, disorderly persons, harassment complaints, lost property, theft reports, transport assistance, tree down and 911 hang-up, all 1.

Police issued 16 traffic citations and 20 parking tickets, and completed five accident reports.
