Dear Editor,

If I take my husband’s mail-in ballot with mine to the Post Office and drop it in the mail slot, I get a “thank you.”

If I take my husband’s mail-in ballot with mine to the ballot drop box and drop it in, I can face up to two years in prison and a $2,500 fine. Does this make any sense at all?

There really is something wrong with our Legislature.
