South continues to lead the 2022 Senior Games

With three days of competition in the books, South Carbon County continues to lead the 2022 Senior Games with a combined score of 352; but North Carbon County is continuing the fight with a combined team score of 200.

Who will be left standing when all the dust settles from the two weeks of competition? We’ll have to wait and see.

Thursday’s events included billiards.

Men’s results by age group:

• 60 to 64: Bob Kintz of Lehighton, gold; Robert Benek of Lehighton, silver; and Norb Lienhard of Jim Thorpe, bronze.

• 65 to 69: Dave Getz of Jim Thorpe, gold; Randy Wert of Lehighton, silver; and Gary Fies of Lehighton, bronze.

• 70 to 74: Lewis Hirochek of Panther Valley, gold; Rich Leeman of Jim Thorpe, silver; and Robert Pastier of Palmerton, bronze.
