Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg rallied for a non-league victory over Tamaqua on Friday.

Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg used a big seventh inning to turn a deficit into an eventual 7-5 victory over Tamaqua.

Trailing 5-4, the Spartans used a Kevin Dillon two-run double to take the lead. An RBI single by Natale to plate Dillon gave the winners an insurance run.

The Blue Raiders put two runners on in the home seventh, but ND’s Malcolm Naughton got a strikeout to end the game.

Dillon finished with two hits and three RBIs for the Spartans, who finished the regular season with a 7-13 record.

Tamaqua received a 4-for-4 effort from Mason Moyer, who also scored a run and had an RBI. Ryan Vecolitis added two hits and a run, while Timmy Fritzinger contributed a hit and two RBIs.

The Raiders ended with a 4-16 mark.
