The Carbon County Coroner has identified the Mahoning Township man who was found dead after being involved in a lawn mower accident on Monday.

County Coroner Robert Miller identified the man as Rick Decker, 68.

The cause of death was traumatic asphyxia plus drowning, Miller said.

Decker was cutting grass Monday when his riding lawn mower apparently slipped off a steep embankment into a small stream.

He was discovered by his wife.

Miller said Decker’s death was ruled accidental.
