– Lisa Serfass delivers a walk-off homer in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Palmerton to a 4-3 Centennial League softball victory over Pleasant Valley. The Bombers had trailed heading into the home sixth until Gail Berger’s two-run triple drives in both Amy Whiteman and Sue Snyder to tie the score. That sets the stage for Serfass, whose blast down the left field line ends the game. Taryn Pastier, who adds an RBI on a sacrifice fly, allows just three hits to gain the win.
