Gerald B. Cole, 34, today assumed his duties as the new administrator of the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. He formerly served as assistant director of the Lutheran Hospital of Brooklyn.

A native of Burlington, Vermont, Cole is the father of three children.

He previously served as administrative resident at the Indiana University Medical Center, this being equivalent to a doctor’s internship.

He graduated from the University of Chicago in 1959 with an M.B.A. degree in hospital administration.
