– Wayde Williams turns Tamaqua’s fortunes around with one swing of the bat as his walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning caps off a furious Blue Raiders rally and launches Tamaqua into the Schuylkill League championship game. The 6-2 victory over North Schuylkill is the 12th in a row for the Raiders, who win their first Schuylkill League Division1 championship title since 1984. With the game tied at 2-2, Williams deposits a 1-0 pitch over the right-center field fence for the game-winner.
