The joint operating committee of the Carbon Career & Technical Institute, Jim Thorpe, has hired David I. Reinbold of Lansford to serve as acting administrative director of the school.

Reinbold, who will succeed Dr. Robert Mauro, who will be retiring effective June 1, will be paid $90,000 annually.

The new acting administrative director has been serving as principal of CCTI and previously has worked in administration in the Stroudsburg School District.
