Kathleen A. (Demyan) Czap and Michael Czap of Palmerton celebrated their 50th anniversary on Friday.

They were married May 6, 1972, in SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church in Bethlehem by the Rev. Robert Kozel.

Kathleen is the daughter of the late Michael and Frances Demyan of Bethlehem.

Michael is the son of the late Geza and Anna Czap of Bethlehem.

The couple have three children, Michael and Hayley, United Kingdom; Brian, Brodheadsville; and Jennifer Behler, Jim Thorpe; and five grandchildren.

The family will be celebrating the anniversary at a later date.
