Two Schuylkill businesses cited for liquor violations

Two Schuylkill County businesses have been cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state police for violating the state liquor code.

• Jimmy O’s Bar LLC, 101 S. Line St., Frackville, was cited for on Jan. 22 for selling alcoholic beverages between 2 and 7 a.m.

• Goodfellas Inc., 1105 S. Centre St., Pottsville, was cited for three violations: failed to adhere to the conditions of the agreement entered into with the board placing additional restrictions upon subject license during the period Jan. 3 to April 6; failed to ensure the board-approved manager completed RAMP owner/manager training within the past two years during the period Jan. 2 through April 5; and failed to ensure an alcohol service person complete RAMP server/seller training within the past two years during the period of Aug. 28, 2021, through April 6.

These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
