Dates and information have been announced for this year’s Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup baseball team tryouts.

The team’s first tryout will take place on Sunday, May 15 from 8:15 a.m. to 12 noon at Limeport Stadium in Coopersburg. All players attending the tryout will need:

• Check/Cash for $150 payable to “All Sorts of Sports” in self-addressed, stamped unsealed envelope.

• Signed waiver and completed profile forms.

The team’s will have two more tryouts dates: Sunday, May 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Limeport Stadium, and Sunday, May 29 from 8:15 a.m. to 12 noon at Limeport Stadium. Team selection will take place following the May 29 tryout.

Sunday, June 5, will be the rain date in case any of the three tryouts dates are postponed.

The Lehigh Valley team will hold a mandatory practice for all players selected to the team on Sunday, June 12 at 8:30 a.m.

The team plays its first game on Tuesday, June 14 at 4 p.m. vs. Burlington at UYA Showcase Field in FDR Park in Philadelphia.
