– Marian’s softball team comes up with 11 runs in the first inning en route to a 24-9 romp over Cardinal Brennan in a game played in Hometown. Patty Koval, Michele McLaughlin and Valerie Shamonsky all collect three hits for the Fillies, who finish the contest with 16. McLaughlin also earns the pitching win.
