– Amanda Derby collects three hits and Jess Bargilione pitches shutout ball to lead Panther Valley to an 11-0 victory over Freeland MMI. Derby also has one of her team’s four doubles. Ashley Yurick adds two hits, one being a double, and Julie Harrison and Kate Wendling account for the other two-baggers for the Panthers. The win lifts PV to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in Division3 of the Schuylkill League.
