“Beauty & the Beast Jr.” performances will be on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Support the PVMS Musical CIub.
Spring concert
Pleasant Valley High School is holding its spring band concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the high school’s new auditorium.
Seniors menu
Folks attending the Chestnuthill Center Wednesdays and Fridays can still order their meal for Friday which is broccoli and cheddar scrambled eggs.

Mission meal
The West End Mission will be serving its Mission meal at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
Church sale set
Middlecreek Christian Church will be holding its spring rummage sale and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, with the bag sale on Saturday. The church is at 343 Dorshimer Road, Kresgeville.
Cleanup aid
The Garden of Giving continues its cleanup activities. Volunteers can help this Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Garden is located off Route 715 at 2556 Rising Hill Road in McMichaels.

Pavilion cleaning
American Legion Post 927 in Gilbert is having its monthly pavilion cleanup beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Chicken dinner
Effort UMC is holding a takeout chicken barbecue dinner from 1 to 6 p.m., or sold out, on Saturday.

New appointment
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church has appointed Linda Carbone as its Director of Religious Education & Faith Formation.
She comes to that position from serving as Director of Parish Engagement for the church, having been a member of OLQOP for 30 years and having served in various ways and having obtained various certificates, including Lay Ministry Certification and participating in the two-year program, Certificate in Ministry Leadership.
Cornerstone church
On Saturday, Cornerstone Community Church will host a Lifeway Women simulcast. Doors open at 8 a.m. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and goes to 4:15 p.m.
There is a cost, which includes lunch. It is open to women ages seventh grade and older. Tickets may be purchased online through Eventbrite, by clicking the Simulcast ad on the church’s website at www.cornerstonecommunity.org.
Church work day
Weather permitting, St. Matthew’s UCC, Kunkletown, is planning on doing cleanup in the cemetery and grove as well as outdoor and inside food stands Saturday. Helpers of all ages from the church are being asked to volunteer.
Families that have things on the ground in the cemetery are asked to remove all items before Friday, or they will be thrown out for the mowing crew to come in.
Volleyball teams
The church volleyball league is now forming teams for the upcoming season and are seeking some additional players. Anyone who thinks he or she would like to join them in some warm weather fun, contact Paul DeBarry, League Coordinator, at pdaz@ptd.net.
Basket workshop
Quiet Valley, Monroe County’s Living Historical Farm, is hosting a fundraiser basket workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday. It will be led by Mel Kessler of Baskets and Boards.

Church dinner
St. Peter’s UMC, Saylorsburg, is hosting a drive-thru service roast beef dinner from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The meal includes roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw, rolls/butter and dessert.
Reservations are highly recommended.

St. Peter UMC’s Sunday worship morning services begin at 10 a.m. preceded by Christian Education. Fellowship time follows worship on the second and fourth Sundays.

Wednesday evening Bible studies will continue at 7 p.m., following the theme of the previous Sunday’s sermon.
Block shoot
Kunkletown Rod & Gun Club is holding its next block shoot and meat raffle beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday, at the Kunkletown Rod & Gun Club on Gun Club Lane, Saylorsburg. It will be 12-gauge shotgun only. The public is welcome.
