State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a crash that happened at 1:32 p.m. March 26 on the Kunkletown Road in Eldred Township.

Police said an unknown vehicle traveling west on the highway left the right side of the roadway and traveled into the grass area. Police said as the vehicle left the grass area, it struck a PennDOT speed limit sign.
