State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened at 1:31 p.m. April 1 in Chestnuthill Township.

A 52-year-old man from Effort reported someone threw fireworks at his mailbox along Shane Drive. Police said there was no property damage in the incident.

The suspect was driving a dark pickup that left the scene after the incident, police said.
