Jim Thorpe Borough has announced its street sweeping schedule for 2022.

The streets listed will be done if weather permits and the schedule is subject to change. Sweeping will be done from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except for May 5, when it will be done from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday, April 25: Spring Street (even side), Oak Street (even side), Cemetary Road (even side), Alpine Lane (both sides), Pine Street (odd side), Lehigh Street (odd side), and North Street (odd side).

Tuesday, April 26: Spring Street (odd side), Oak Street (odd side), Cemetary Road (odd side), Pine Street (even side), Lehigh Street (even side), and North Street (even side).

Wednesday, April 27: Center Street (even side), South Street (even side), Orchard Lane (both sides), School Street (odd side), and Fern Street (odd side).

Thursday, April 28: School Street (even side), Fern Street (even side), 13th Street (upper end both sides), Center Street (odd side), South Street (odd side), and South Mauch Chunk Lane (odd side).

Friday, April 29: 13th Street to Front Street (all side streets).

Monday, May 2: Front Street to 13th Street (all side streets).

Tuesday, May 3: North Avenue (even side), Center Avenue (even side), Poplar Avenue (both sides), Carbon Avenue (both sides), School Alley (odd side), and South Avenue (odd side).

Wednesday, May 4: Center Avenue (odd side), North Avenue (odd side), South Avenue (even side), and School Alley (even side).

Thursday, May 5: Hazard Square (both sides), Broadway (both sides), Race Street (both sides), Hill Road (both sides) and Chestnut Hill (both sides).

Friday, May 6: West Broadway (both sides), Switchback (both sides), and West Broadway to duck pond (all side streets, both sides). Both sides of Pleasant Hill, Main Street, Chapman Street and Canal Street will be swept if time permits.
