State police released details on Lehigh Valley crashes:

• State police in Bethlehem said two people were injured in a crash that happened at 6:51 p.m. April 12 at the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Willow Street in North Whitehall Township.

They included Todd M. Smith, 50, of Germansville, who police said sustained suspected minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene, the driver of one of the vehicles, and a 10-year-old girl from Whitehall who was a passenger in the second vehicle. It was operated by Natalie K. Boll, 39, of Whitehall, who police said also refused medical treatment.

• Two vehicles were towed from the scene of a crash at 7:04 a.m. April 11 on Airport Road in Hanover Township.

State police at Bethlehem said a 2007 Honda CRV operated by Veronica L. Murphy, 35, of Kunkletown, and a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Tara L. Sell, 39, of Catasauqua, were on Airport Road and turning right onto Schoenersville Road when the collision took place. Police said Murphy failed to observe the Crosstrek stopping for oncoming traffic and the Honda struck it in the rear.

Murphy was cited for following too closely. No one was injured.

• A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Lehigh County recently. State police at Fogelsville said the incident occurred on April 6 at 6:48 a.m. along Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township.

Troopers said Joseph J. Tinari, 50, of Girardville, was driving a 2020 Ford Supercab F250 truck in the left lane eastbound when a vehicle, traveling eastbound in the right lane, changed lanes without proper clearance. The other vehicle made contact with Tinari’s truck.

After impact the other driver continued eastbound. Tinari’s truck sustained disabling damages and had to be towed. Tinari was not injured.

• Three drivers, including a Brodheadsville man, escaped injuries in a traffic incident at 7:45 a.m. March 31 on Route 22 in Bethlehem Township.

State police at the Bethlehem barracks did not provide the details of the incident, except for the drivers’ names. They included Cody J. Shanley, 25, of Brodheadsville, Luiz Dequeiroz, 31, of Nazareth, and Luis Vasquez-Diaz, 36, of Mount Bethel.
