State police at the Lehighton barracks said a crash at 9:45 p.m. April 3 on Indian Hill Road in Franklin Township involved a state trooper and a state police car.

Police said Trooper Michael R. Sofranko, 34, of Lehighton, was traveling east on Indian Hill Road in the state police vehicle and attempted to make a right turn into a private driveway.

While negotiating the turn, police said, both passenger-side doors of the vehicle hit a rectangular concrete barrier where the driveway meets Indian Hill Road.

Sofranko was not injured.
