Walnutport Borough Council recently approved the following:

• S&G to repair South Canal Street at a cost of $21,500, with the borough to purchase material through COSTAR agreement/American rescue funds.

• DDR Construction to repair Washington Street at a cost of $4,200.

• More materials for street coating in the amount of $2,500.

• To have borough solicitor Michael Corriere draw up a hold harmless agreement concerning alcohol at pavilion rentals.

• Announced that an E-recycling event to be held from 4-6 p.m. May 18 in the borough hall parking lot at 417 Lincoln Ave.
