Staten police at Stroudsburg were summoned at 2:27 p.m. April 11 to investigate a hit-and-run sideswiping incident.

It happened on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said the unknown vehicle was southbound on Route 209 when it crossed into the northbound lane and struck the front of a 2017 Hyundai Sonata driven by Thaddeus J. Laskowski, 75, of East Stroudsburg, and fled southbound.

Laskowski was not injured.
