State police at Fern Ridge were summoned to Pleasant Valley High School, Brodheadsville, at 9:35 a.m. April 8 for an assault incident.

Police said a suspect assaulted a 62-year-old woman from Brodheadsville.

The suspect was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation, police said. They said the victim declined to prosecute her assailant.
